HVAC INSTALLATION

OCI Energy is capable to undertake projects that require engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR-CONDITIONING (HVAC) systems

These activities are managed and supervised by a team of qualified and experienced managers, engineers, draftsmen and supervisors

Scope of works shall covers ductworks, piping and equipment installations, mechanical works, welding and inspection

Testing & commissioning shall be part of the handover activities.

We have carried out Design, Installation and Commissioning of Air-Conditioning and Ventilation System for Petronas Twin Towers from 1996 till 1999 joint ventured with CYMI, SA, a spanish conglomerate. 

The installation includes:

• Chilled water pipe works and insulation
• Pumps and Heat Exchangers
• Ductwork, Fire rated ducts
• Electrical Boards, Frequency Inverters
• Air Handling Units, Fan Coil units
• Precision Computer Air-Conditioner
• Testing, Balancing and Commissioning

HVAC MAINTENANCE

Our services include but not limited to the following services ; equipment checks and servicing, replacement of failed parts, procurement and keep stock of wear and tear parts, replacement of failed parts, preventive maintenance, trouble shootings, predictive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, refurbishment of parts and restoration of any part of the Heating , Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems to good working conditions.

Preventive Maintenance (PM)
Works carry out for daily service and inspections on HVAC equipments like Air-Handling Units, Fan-coils, Pumps, Chillers, Heat Recovery Wheels, Filters, Cooling Towers, piping system, fans, blowers,  Motorized dampers, etc.
               
Corrective Maintenance (CM)
The team is capable of doing breakdown maintenance, overhaul or repair of parts in-site or in the workshop. Typical works carried out are shaft repair, bearing replacement, compressor overhaul, motor rewinding, pumps overhaul, mechanical seal replacement, and water treatment for cooling tower units
        
Predictive Maintenance (Pd M)

• Laser alignment activities are mostly to realign shafts of rotating equipment such as pumps, chillers, blowers, fans and air-handling units. Laser is also used at the drive-belt system to get the most accurate alignment therefore may improve efficiency.
• Infrared Thermo Graphic Scanner is applied to record, analyze and predict the life of electrical devices, switchboard cables, motor connections and mechanical rotations that develop heat. This method will enable to detect and rectify the problems before they get worse and at the same time could avoid system failure and equipment breakdowns.
• Vibration Monitoring may identify the vibrating reference of the machine in accordance to the vibration severity class. This method also may diagnose bearing life, mounting looseness, as well as appropriate time for replacement.
