Air Fin Cooler Performance
Air Fin Coolers (AFC) or Air Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE) will be under performance due to the following common causes:
- Reduction of Air Flow
The above cause will decrease production rate of the petroleum or chemical substances as a result of reduction in cooling efficiency. More electrical energy is needed to substitute the efficiency loss in order to enhance the production. Simultaneously maintenance cost is increased due to frequent usage and shorten life span of bearings, belts, pulleys, etc - Increase in External Fouling on Finned Tubes
This will cause poor heat transfer, air restriction to the finned tubes and increase static pressure. Due to this fan with higher capacity is required to enhance the production.
We provide AFC Performance team to carry out the following tasks: - Conducting full site measurement for parameters;
- Fan performance - actual against design parameters
- Air Face Velocity & Temperature Profile
- Alignment & Tensioning of the drive systems
- Improve air flow profiles
- Provide Recommendation and Retrofitting for Improvement
- Install new fan Blades, Motors, Drive systems, etc
- Improve air circulation and flow
- Adjust the right angle blade and cones
- Carry out Semi-Auto and Manual Cleaning Services
